1. Prepare Your Audition: Practice the first verse of the Star-Spangled Banner thoroughly. Remember, no accompaniment is required for this audition. Focus on delivering a confident and heartfelt rendition of the national anthem.

2. Prepare to Record: Find a quiet and well-lit space for recording your audition. Make sure there are no distractions in the background. You may use a smartphone or a camera to record the video.

3. Introduce Yourself: Begin the video by introducing yourself. State your name, age, and a brief sentence about why you are excited to join our children's choir.

4. Sing the Star-Spangled Banner: Perform the first verse of the Star-Spangled Banner. Remember to showcase your vocal talent and expressiveness. Please ensure the video captures your face and upper body.

5. Video Guidelines: The video should be in landscape orientation (horizontal), and the audio must be clear with no background noise. Ensure that your face is well-lit and visible throughout the performance.

6. Email Submission: Once your audition video is ready, email it as an attachment to info.hvcc@gmail.com. In the subject line, please write: "Children's Choir Audition - [Your Name]."

7. Submission Deadline: All audition videos must be received no later than midnight on Monday, August 21st to be considered for the audition process. Late submissions may not be accepted.

8. Confirmation of Receipt: After we receive your audition video, we will send you a confirmation email to acknowledge your submission. If you do not receive a confirmation within two business days, please reach out to us to ensure your audition was received.
